Bugsy Malone

Performed in eight shows over four days in February 2004, YPTC's first stage production was a great success.

Each performance was packed with an excited and extremely appreciative audience who were astounded by the ability of these talented young stars.

Bringing the world of gangsters and molls, danger and romance in 1920's New York to life was an opportunity relished by the ensemble cast.

With its spectacular dance routines, showstopping songs and strongly drawn characters, this production was a credit to all involved.

And all that hard work did not go unnoticed. Those packed audiences held several high profile casting directors who were keen to snap up many of the young performers. As a direct result of this production, many of the students have gone on to auditions and further professional work.
