An Era of Youth Showcase

With three original ten minute plays set in time periods ranging from World War Two to the present day, the Era of Youth Showcase, combined music from the 1940s and 60s with contemporary songs and modern and funky dance pieces interspersed with Shakespearian monologues and martial arts infused movement pieces.

The showcase was performed at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts' Gielgud Theatre to a small audience and was designed to platform the performers' work, allowing industry professionals, including several producers, directors and casting agents, to see just how talented the cast of YPTC are.

The Era of Youth Showcase was specially created to stretch and test the cast members' talents pushing them to their limits and beyond. Every cast member took on more than one acting role as well as performing in songs and dance pieces which culminated in a dynamic and entertaining one hour performance. YPTC will continue to perform the showcase by taking it on tour around London in the future.
