Robbi Stevens - Director / Producer |

Robbi began her career in the performing arts in her native Australia, after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts at WAAPA.After treading the boards in both Australia and the UK Robbi moved into directing and qualified with post grads in both performing arts and cinemaphtography. Robbi has since produced and directed two feature films and three short films including Flamingo Blues,Cultural Menace and Invalid Debris and three west end plays and musicals, including 'Requiem for Tomorrow' at the Shaw Theatre and 'Flamingo Blues' at the Unicorn Theatre. Robbi is dedicated to the production and artistic direction of YPTC and its future success!!

Victoria Howell - Writer |

Victoria completed a BA Hons degree in English and Drama at Hull University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama. Since then she has worked extensively as an actor on stage, film and television. Victoria is also a trained singer and has recorded vocals for single releases and film soundtracks as well as performing live. Victoria co-wrote feature film, ´Flamingo Blues` released in 2002 as well as 'Requiem for Tomorrow' which was performed by YPTC at the Shaw Theatre in 2006 and 'Flamingo Blues' performed at the Unicorn Theatre in 2007. She has also written several short plays for children.

Derya Donaldson - Choreographer |

Derya trained at the Urdang Academy of Ballet and Performing Arts in Covent Garden, and has worked in various fields including dance, singing, modelling and acting. She has appeared in the number of pop videos for amongst others, Annie Lennox, D`influence, Me One, Samantha Mumba, Cher and Paul McCartney. Derya has appeared in BBC1´s ´New Tricks` as well as several commercials for print and television.

Ronnie was born and grew up in Trinidad. He then attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, The Royal Northern College of Music, in Manchester and was a trainee at the National Opera Studio. His musical credits include Husky Miller in ´Carmen Jones` at the Old Vic, Dixon in ‘Born Again' at the Chichester Festival Theatre, and Me and Main Man in ´The Buddy Holly Story` at the Victoria Place Theatre. His operatic credits include the roles of Don Jose in ‘Carmen', Dr Caius in ‘Falstaff, and Jake in ‘Porgy and Bess. A regular performer with Birmingham Opera Company, Opera North and Pegasus Opera, Ronnie has also recorded widely for BBC radio plays, BBC4 and The South Bank Show.

Mark's early career and training were in the classical field and after completing a performance arts degree at Middlesex University he studied and completed performance and teaching diplomas at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
As an Operatic Tenor, Mark has performed with the prestigious and highly-acclaimed company Opera North, as well as working with Opera New Zealand. In spite of his success in the classical world, Mark always loved listening to and playing jazz whenever he could and in the last few years has established a number of jazz ensembles. Mark performs regularly as a jazz singer and violinist all around the UK and was nominated for the Best Newcomer award at the 2006 Marlborough Jazz Festival.

Erim Metto, is Company Director of Metto Productions, focusing on issue led filmmaking and documentaries. To date, Erim has directed and produced ten documentaries, four short films and a feature length adaptation of Romeo and Juliet – ‘Cultural Menace'. Erim has completed three award winning documentaries including: 'Emergency at War', 'I Used to Live in Cyprus', and 'Stigma'. His work has extended to working with YPTC on; 'Sting', 'Invalid Debris', and music video for 'Requiem for Tomorrow'. Daniel Moses - Photographer and Film Maker |

Daniel is a creative photographer and filmmaker who views the world in a series of shots, cuts and sounds. His passion for moving and still images result in innovative productions that manage to entertain and inform. Daniel has directed two original short films “Motion, Agreed… Carried” and “The Rabbi”, and two documentaries “Remembering Richard” and “YPTC presents.… Flamingo Blues”. Successful past projects have been managed and created in the various sectors of film, documentary, performance, corporate, event and charity; and showcased as part of in- house programmes, during events, in publications and online. Emma Garafalo - Costume Designer |

Emma studied fashion and textiles and visual art and design, graduating in 2002. She first began working in costume with Mahogany, a busy carnival arts company in 2000. This has given her the opportunity to work on a wide range of productions and large scale events, travelling to India, Hong Kong, Bahrain, France and all over the U.K. Currently, Emma works as a costume designer who specialises in abstract garments, structural costumes and costume props.

Nadine Woodley - Dance Tutor |

Having gained a BA Hons in Media Performance, Nadine has been working as a freelance dance and drama tutor for six years. She has been with Hopeful Monsters since 2003 teaching dance with all age groups and acting with the younger children. Nadine is also a talented hair and make up artist who has created designs for her own dance company, Big Steppers, as well as for YPTC's 'Requiem for Tomorrow' and 'Flamingo Blues'.

Glynis Davis - Secretary - Hopeful Monsters and YPTC |

Glynis has been with Hopeful Monsters for three years. Beginning as an involved parent, Glynis quickly became indispensable and is now secretary for both groups. She has many years experience in childcare and working with children and has also been a production assistant for all YPTC's stage and film productions.
